Porto Stenitis is a natural west-facing harbour on the southwest coast — sheltered, positioned to catch the full arc of the sunset over the open sea. A place known to those who know where to look.
You'll settle in at the Hippie Bar, the perfect spot to watch the sun go down with a drink in hand. One drink per person is included — local wine, beer, or soft drinks, served as the sun sets.
The Experience
The evening minivan journey takes you from Kalamaki to the southwest coast, through villages and olive groves bathed in late afternoon light that feels unlike anything else on the island. You arrive at Porto Stenitis as the sun begins to descend.
The Hippie Bar sits right on the water, with an unobstructed westward view. No buildings, no shadows — just the sea and the horizon. This is where you watch the sun sink into the Ionian, drink in hand, with fewer than 8 fellow travellers beside you.

Itinerary
Meet at our office opposite Zakynthos Airport. You board the luxury 8-seat minivan and set off for the southwest coast. The route passes through traditional villages and rural landscapes rarely seen by tourists.
The southwest of Zakynthos feels different from the north — quieter, greener, less visited. En route to Stenitis you pass ancient olive groves, stone villages, and views that shift colour as the sun begins to lower.
You arrive at Porto Stenitis and settle in at the Hippie Bar — right on the water, with an unobstructed view westward. Your included drink is served as the sun begins its descent. Free time for photos, a swim, or simply taking in the moment.
After the sun goes down, the minivan returns you to Kalamaki. The night drive back through the lit villages of southwest Zakynthos is the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening.

Yes. Porto Stenitis is a natural sheltered harbour with calm water, suitable for swimming. Bring your swimwear if you'd like to take a dip before or during the sunset.
